Mr. Thai Van Nguyen

Founder of Mekong-WASHER
Mr. Thai Van Nguyen completed a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Rural Development at An Giang University and received an Australian Awards Scholarship (AAS) to undertake a Master course (2014-2016) in International Development Studies (Gender and Natural Resource Management) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia. In 2021, Mr. Thai has received the International Postgraduate Research Awards to undertake a doctor program in Social Sciences (2021-2025) at the University of New England, Australia.

Dr. Andres Verzijl

Advisor (Social scientist)
Dr. Andres Verzijl is currently working in the Human Geography and Spatial Planning - International Development Studies Utrecht University, the Netherlands.

Dr. Caitlin Grady

Advisor (WASH expert)
Dr. Grady is an Assistant Professor at the Pennsylvania State University in the USA. She completed her PhD and Masters degrees at Purdue University in Civil Engineering and Agricultural & Biological Engineering, respectively. She previously worked in environmental policy in Washington DC and currently pursues research on the water-food-energy nexus.

Ms. Pham Tran Lan Phuong

I am Pham Tran Lan Phuong, a member of Mekong Washer Hub. I mainly conduct researches about water governance as well as other issue-related water such as gender, agriculture, aquaculture. I do hope joining a hand in developing community and raising more involvement - no one left behind.

Mr. Pham Tan Dat

Hub member
Mr. Pham Tan Dat received a BSc Biology from An Giang University in 2013. Then he started working as a research assistant for international research projects at the Research Center for Rural Development of An Giang University. In 2017, he was awarded an Academic Fellowship to study Environmental Issues and Food Security in East-West Center, United States. He completed his MSc. IPM at Harper Adams University (UK) in 2020. He supports the Mekong Organics to promote organic farming movement in the Mekong Delta. He is currently working for the fruit republic as research agronomist. His main task in the company is to implement new farming techniques to improve crop production, protect the environment, and enhance farmer’s livelihood.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Dang

Mr. Nguyen Minh Dang has years of working in the field of organic farming systems, specifically farm design and management, marketing plans, data collection (household interviews, qualitative research) and research analyses based on SPSS software.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bien Gioi

Hub member
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bien Gioi has completed a Master degree in the Rural Development at Can Tho University since 2017. At present, she is working at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Tinh Bien District, An Giang Province. In the Hub, her key qualification is to coordinate quantitative data analysis, field data collection, and community engagement.

Thao Phung

Ms. Thao is currently working in Department of Natural resources and Environment in An Giang province, Vietnam. She completed her Master degree at The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Australia in International Urban and Environment Management.

Mr. Le Tri Thich

Hub member
Mr. Le Tri Thich has received a Master degree in the Environmental Engineering at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology – Vietnam National University of HCM City since 2018. Currently, he is working at the Lab Engineer (Environmental & Chemical Analytics Laboratory) of An Giang University – Vietnam National University of HCM City. In the Mekong WASHER Hub, Mr. Thich is a technical coordinator in the projects on water and environmental engineering.
